So you have music, head phones to listen to it with, a watch to track where you go while listening and foam rollers to help rehab those muscles for your next workout already on your gift list. What comes next?
Running with your hands full of things isn’t always fun for runners. Sure there are times when I run with my iPhone, camera or water bottle in my hand but ultimately I like to have my hands free, especially during races.
Unfortunately, during races is also one of the times where I like to have my phone on fuel on me most. I love being able to take pictures during races to document the miles with my iPhone and I also like to have it on me so that I can quickly get in contact with my spectator support post race. Now imagine those water station stops with a phone in one hand and fuel in the other. Now imagine trying to get your fuel open and to consume it with one hand. Not fun.
And here is where my next gift comes into play.
Gift #5: The iFitness Belt
The iFitness belt that I have comes with two different storage sections and offers enough space for my phone, camera, extra pieces of gum and my race fuel.
The belt is designed to sit low on your hips and has an adjustable elastic band to keep the belt in place and tight to your body. There is no bouncing or moving of the belt once you have it in place.
Another great thing about it, is that I often will tuck additional fuel into the waistband in plastic baggies and it stays secure and close to my hips – no flopping around or sliding out from the band of the belt.

The iFitness belt also comes in single pouch styles and with actual fuel slots and is an option of a place to clip your race bib to instead of pinning it to the front of your shirt (which I know a lot of runners aren’t a fun of). The belts run on average about $25.00.
