Half Marathon Hat Trick

I put another race on the 2012 race schedule!

Well, make that another three races…

…all in 24 hours!

Brian and I have been looking for a reason to head back to the Lehigh Valley area since we enjoyed it so much during his season last year and this seemed like the perfect excuse for a weekend trip. He’s even decided to join me in the 5K and then he will be my cheerleader for the 10K and half marathon the following day!

Workout

I plan to get a run in later this afternoon but my workout part one this morning consisted of Jillian Michaels’ No More Trouble Zones DVD. Always a good one!

Breakfast

A tropical smoothie was the perfect start to Monday morning.

In the blender went a mix of frozen mango, pineapple, strawberries and peaches with chocolate protein powder, almond milk and a drop of coconut extract. A little Island touch to the morning!

Question:

Have you ever run multiple races in a 24 hour period? This is prep for the Goofy Challenge for me one day….the Disney half on Saturday and the full marathon on Sunday!
