Even though Brian and I are not officially part of the MLB community anymore, the group of people that we have become connected with along the way is compiled of an amazing bunch of individuals. I have met a number of wives and girlfriends and keep in contact with many of them; however, I’m also in contact with many that I haven’t met and most likely never will. Through a private Facebook group, the women behind the men playing the sport are able to help support one another since it’s a lifestyle that not everyone is familiar with and definitely presents its challenges along with its celebrations.
With that being said, I couldn’t learn of the story of this little Angel, Payton, through our baseball connections, without sharing it with my little piece of the blog world.
If you can help Payton and her family in this time of need, that is wonderful and I’m sure beyond appreciated. And helping doesn’t have to be by donating a monetary amount but in just sharing the story and spreading the word to help raise awareness. You can visit Payton’s YouCaring page by clicking here or click the widget below to link you through to her donation page.
