Good Morning and Happy Hump Day!!!
Workout
This morning’s workout was pretty similar to the circuit workout that I did last Tuesday morning, incorporating mile runs in with my core sets. Instead of doing four total miles though, I only did three. The first two were at 8 min/mile pace and the last started at 8 minutes and I continued to speed up until I was running at about a 7:30 min/mile pace.
Here’s the overview:
- 1 mile run – 7.5 mph
- 1st core set
- 1 mile run – 7.5 mph
- 2nd core set
- 1 mile run – 7.5 mph to 7.8 mph
- 3rd core set
- 4th core set
After the circuits, I worked on stretching out my legs for a while. My muscles are still feeling Sunday’s race…especially my left hamstring and knee.
Breakfast
Breakfast this morning was exciting for two reasons:
1. I got to use my new single egg pan! I have wanted one of these for a while now and when I saw a two pack for $8.00 at Ross while in Florida, I quickly nabbed it up! Not only do I have one for home now but I also put one in my bag to go with Brian so I’ll have one “on the road” too!
I love that it makes eggs the perfect size for an egg sandwich.
2. The second reason breakfast was a hit was because I got to try a Blueberry Alternative Bagel. I couldn’t wait to bust one of these out this morning and it was definitely worth it! So happy that I found them at Publix!
Ham, egg and provolone cheese on a toasted blueberry bagel. Great start to the morning!
Off to play catch up from the past two days out of the office!
Have a great morning everyone!
